Robert Hosie

Joint Managing Director


Robert Hosie has been involved in metal manufacturing and parts manufacturing for over 45 years. As a fully qualified welder, Robert has been instrumental in product development and supply to not only Ansir Systems but other supply customers as well. His knowledge of production and the use of the latest manufacturing techniques allows Ansir Systems to provide a uniquely designed product that is supplied and finished to the highest level of requirements and expectations. Roberts’s commitment to providing the best possible product at the most realistic price is what has driven Ansir Systems to be so successful.

Glen Boyes

Joint Managing Director


Glen is a fully qualified Toolmaker and started his working life with GTS Industries in Melbourne where he completed his apprenticeship. Glen’s knowledge and experience of fine tolerance manufacturing allows Ansir Systems to meet extremely critical design and manufacturing requirements. Glen’s knowledge of manufacturing has evolved after working for many years with his business partner, Robert Hosie in delivering manufactured products to a range of customers bot h here in Australia and overseas. His extensive knowledge of tool making procedures and the cost benefits of this extends to providing customers with a highly competent and well-designed product. Glen, like Robert is fully committed to providing the best possible products to meet the customers’ expectations in a demanding environment.

Colin Swainson

International Sales Manager


Colin relocated to NZ in 1986 from the United Kingdom after he sold his engineering business. Upon arriving in NZ Colin began working for Glidepath as a Project Engineer. Within this role he managed projects from point of sale to commissioning and client hand over. Special care and attention was paid to the correct delivery of the contract against specifications, time line and budget.


Colin has also worked for BCS as Business Development Manager/Project Manager within South East Asia.

Francis Millar

Senior Applications Engineer


Francis joined the BHS industry in the early nineties working with BCS primarily as a Project Design Engineer, because of his sound understanding of the project engineering requirements he diversified into project management at a number of global locations.

Darren Hamilton

Operations Manager


Has been involved in the Baggage handling Industry since 1997 after joining AP Morling Pty Ltd. In 2002 he joined BCS where he was the Production Manager and Procurement Manager until 2014. At the end of 2014 he then moved to Ansir Systems where he is now the Operations Manager. During his work life he has managed the production and procurement of many projects both locally and internationally on time and on schedule.

Keith Morling

Australia Senior Sales Manager


Has been involved in airport baggage systems since the early 70’s when his family business AP Morling Pty Ltd installed the first baggage carousels in Australia. The company went on to install the first fully automated baggage system at Melbourne Airport in the mid 90’s and quickly grew to supply a world-wide market.


Following the sale of AP Morling Keith helped to set up BCS within Australia and build the company into a major supplier for BHS within the region.


Keith brings 45 years of specialist industry experience to Ansir in a very key role. His wide skill set spans throughout the Ansir business model; from hands on project supply and management to global sales.

Robert Miller

Business Development Manager


Worked as Senior Sales and General Manager for Brunswick Sales and Zilon Engineering Pty Ltd. Has overseen the development of Brunswick Sales as a key supplier to the Australian Construction Industry with the manufacture and supply of Masonry Flexible Anchors and Stainless Steel Masonry Support systems.


Robert has also overseen the structuring of imported goods from China for both Brunswick Sales and Zilon Engineering clients and has worked closely with Chinese contacts to provide a seamless integration of imported product and locally manufactured product.


He has also been responsible for the exclusive Australian Distribution of the Airplaco Specialised concrete pump products into Australia from the US.


Robert acts as a General Manager to the parent company, Zilon Engineering Pty Ltd

Karl Helle

Senior Systems Engineer

Has been involved in the baggage handling industry for 30 years starting as an apprentice with AP Morling Pty Ltd manufacturing mechanical conveyor components before moving onto installation and site supervision which saw him travel extensively throughout the world on many BHS projects. Natural progression saw Karl move into the engineering side of the business following Keith Morling to BCS where he became Engineering Manager having hands-on involvement in the design of all individual conveyor products. As the company grew Karl found a passion for system design and moved into a roll with Sales and for the past few years has been heavily involved in the design consultancy team at Melbourne airport. Karl joined Ansir Systems in July 2019 as a Senior Systems Engineer and is working closely with customers and Agents, being heavily involved in sales, system design, engineering and project management.
